Shikha wants to act with her father

Introducing Shikha Talsania
The 24-year-old daughter of actor Tiku Talsania debuts as Sid's best friend Laxmi in Wake Up Sid.
Growing up: Most school friend thought that I had a filmy life. But the fact is that I have not attended a single movie premiere so far, forget socialising with the stars. However, I have watched a lot of films like Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Sound of Music and Mr India.
Theatre: I have done a lot of theatre while I was in college. But my parents always maintained that it's not one of the steadiest jobs in the world. That's how I ventured into TV production after college. My stint as an associate line producer on Indian Idol, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena was quite satisfying.
Wake Up Sid: A friend, who was helping the film's casting director, suggested that I audition for the role because Laxmi is just like me.
I'm a foodie: But not very experimental. I can only cook instant noodles and soups.
Parent's reaction: Mum loved my performance. Dad, who watched it with his close friends on Oct 6, said, "No more behind-the-camera work for you."
